This morning I stumbled across the work of British photographer Joseph Ford. Here is a little bit about his latest project. Ford decided to merge his two passions for clothing and photography his goal was to take the art of fashion photography to new heights. To achieve this he flew around the world to source landscapes for the 'aerial' project before arranging designer garments to blend with his aerial shots.
Here is a cool selection of the hybrid landscape/product shots. The landscape shots are taken from a bird's eye view and juxtaposed against detail shots of a range of garments; creating a clever fusion of the two separate images. Dirt roads flow into zippers, crinkles in the fabric form into undulating sand dunes, leather pips become abandoned car parks. All of this makes for a visual treat!
